How PoolBarnLive Works

PoolBarnLive is a broadcast-first billiards platform. Matches take place at The PoolBarn, our dedicated single-table studio, and are produced for livestream and/or multi-camera recording.

Before You Create an Account

Where do matches happen?

At The PoolBarn. Your city/state and player profile tell people where you are from; they do not designate a match venue.

Who can I challenge?

You can challenge another PoolBarnLive player or invite someone you know to participate. Players should create and verify accounts so challenges, bookings, recordings, and match history can be connected to their profiles.

When can we play?

Only during a Broadcast Window approved by a Match Director. Choose a published time or request another date/time and we will try to accommodate it.

Will I be on camera?

Yes. Eligible matches are livestreamed and/or recorded. Multiple camera views may be captured, shared through PoolBarnLive, and made available to participating players for future review.

Create Your Player Account

Use your email address and a secure password. Choose one preferred game and as many favorite games as apply to you.

Open account registration

Verify Your Email

Open the verification message from PoolBarnLive and click the verification button. Check Spam or Promotions if it does not appear in your inbox.

Resend a verification email

Complete Your Profile

Add your photo, biography, city/state, preferred game, favorite games, and playing information. There is no “home pool room” field because PoolBarnLive matches are played at The PoolBarn.

Open My Locker

After you sign in, My Locker is the only place to start a match. Choose Challenge a Player if you know who you want to play, or Open Challenge if you want another eligible player to accept your offer.

Issue the Challenge

Complete the path you selected: send the challenge directly to a player or publish your Open Challenge. A challenge is an invitation to play—it does not reserve the PoolBarn or schedule a broadcast.

Choose or Request a Broadcast Window

After the challenge is accepted, choose a published Broadcast Window. If none work, request another date/time. More availability may exist than what is currently published.

Receive Match Director Approval

A Match Director confirms the players, time, production schedule, and match details. Only then is the match officially scheduled.

View confirmed matches

Play, Watch, and Review

The match is livestreamed and/or recorded from multiple camera views for PoolBarnLive. Recorded matches will be made available to participating players for future review when processing is complete.

Before you play

Every match is a family-friendly production.

All matches played at Pool Barn Live follow the official PBL game rules. Players must also respect the venue and equipment and understand that cameras and microphones may be active throughout the playing area. Questions about the rules may be asked directly to PBL Admin.
